BEF Biosystems
Founded in 2016 upon an initiative by Beppe Tresso, we are an innovative biotechnology company specialised in insect breeding, life cycle management technologies and in the production of derivatives for animal feed.
Our vision
The core of our idea lies in the creation of a participatory agro-sustainable production chain based on the minimum size of Bugsfarms organised in a local and distributed network.

BEF Biosystems wants to be part of a shift towards global sustainability and the circular economy, and it also aims to pioneer a new way to combine growth and innovation by innovating the business models of territorial food production chains.
