We breed insects to produce
sustainable proteins
We protect our planet

Our mission is to achieve several Sustainable Development Goals of the 2030 Agenda adopted by the United Nations.

We use efficiently thermal energy from biogas plants and solar energy

Our bugsfarm is an innovative plug & play technology: modular, efficient and convenient

We convert organic residues into high value-added products reducing waste management costs

We planned our activities in a circular economy perspective based on insects life cycle

Our production cycle highly reduces the CO2 emissions compared to other competing industries

Our insect flour replaces the fish one as main component of feed for animals

Bugsfarm
We raise up Black Soldier Fly (Hermetia Illucens) larvae on nutritionally resembling organic residues until pre-pupae stage. Then we make most of them falling asleep by lowering the temperature until they freeze, instead some of them will become adults for the reproduction cycle. Finally, we deliver the frozen ones or their derivatives (flour, oil and fat) to feed and chemical industries.
